CURVES IN COUTURE SHOW @ VOGUE ITALIA

Taking place in London’s glamorous Notting Hill and hosted by curvaceous celebrities Natalie Cassidy and Pamela Stephenson, this was a celebration of plus size women and plus size models, showing that fashion does not always have to be about rake thin beauty; fashion can promote health, vitality and a positive body image for women of all sizes, a message that guests such as Caroline Rush – CEO of the British Fashion Council – Jean Paul Gaultier model Velvet d’Amour, Whitney Thompson, Eve Pollard, and legendary designer Zandra Rhodes were more than happy to witness.

Featuring the most popular plus size models in the industry today, such as Robyn Lawley - Vogue Italia’s curvy cover model earlier this year - Toccara Jones, Lizzie Miller, Gina Swire and Melissa Laycy, the evening consisted of runway shows of ultra-glamorous and flattering designs by plus size labels Anna Scholz, Carolyn de la Drapiere, Jill Alexander, Danielle Liane, Erin Lacy and milliner Ilda di Vico.

The clothes were a riot of colour, elegance and luxury. Highlights included Lawley looking resplendent in Erin Lacy’s couture champagne coloured silk gown and Anna Scholz’s on trend neons that would have fitted in perfectly at the official London Fashion Week.

With all proceeds going to charity, it was a fantastic night to help those in need while promoting such a positive message of beautiful, health and happiness.
